GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE INFOGRAPHICS

In collaboration with the biology professors and student researches at SUNY New Paltz, I created graphic posters to visualize and provide information on green infrastructure and the local watershed. These infographics highlight the green infrastructure projects established throughout the New Paltz campus that reduce the severity and impact
of flooding.

This summer-long project involved data collection and research, concept presentations, visual identity development and content writing. While there are several existing and up-and-coming green infrastructure projects within the New Paltz campus, we decided to focus on the campus bioswale and pervious pavement parking lot. Each infographic measures two by four feet. This research project also resulted in a short documentary created by New Paltz student Kelsey Hillerud, which can be viewed here.
